The Ontario Carriage Driving Association (OCDA) is a not-for-profit association of carriage drivers in Ontario and the surrounding area. It fosters and promotes interest in the equestrian sports of Pleasure and Combined driving and promotes, encourages and coordinates programs developed by the membership. It does not sell or share the personal information of its members or their associates with organizations outside of the Ontario Carriage Driving Association’s normal business operations except as is permitted by law.
Type of Information Collected
- Personal information that the club may collect from its members and their associates includes, but is not limited to, name, address, email, phone number, farm name and address, information surrounding the equine and carriage used in club competitions, or general information it may obtain about its members and their associates through surveys, questionnaires, event entry forms, or newsletter mailing list.
- Information about members and their associates, industry associations and/or professions.
Information Sharing
The Ontario Carriage Driving (OCDA) association recognizes the privacy of individuals with respect to their personal information and is committed to ensuring the privacy of its members. The information collected allows the Ontario Carriage Driving Association (OCDA) to inform members about events, activities, issues or special offers which may be of interest, as well as to conduct research and provide anonymous reporting for internal and external partners.
In order to promote the equestrian sport of combined driving, the Ontario Carriage Driving Association (OCDA) may share non-public personal information under limited circumstances. This may include publishing competition results or club news items in equestrian and other publications, either written or in electronic form.

The Ontario Carriage Driving Association (OCDA) may have to limit the services it provides, if a member withholds or withdraws consent, if the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information is necessary for the provision of those services.
