DESCRIPTION:Entries are now open and will close on July 16\, 2025 at midnight. \n\n\n\nThis outdoor derby consists of two rounds over a cones course which includes 2 obstacles lettered from A to D. The cones will be set at 160 cm for singles and 180 cm for multiples. The fastest combined time wins. The course will be open for walking at 8 am with the first competitor to go at 10 am. \n\n\n\nThe entry fee is $85 for ADS members. This is an American Driving Society sanctioned show and will be governed by ADS rules. Non-ADS members will be charged a $15 fee for participation. \n\n\n\nBring your own lunch and lawn chairs. Tina is happy to work with any level of horse & driver; from beginner to FEI level. Tina has competed for Canada at the FEI level herself. Read Tina’s biography below.The clinic will consist of 1-hour private lessons at a cost of $150 per lesson for registrations made prior to May 14. Lessons booked on May 14 and up until the closing date of May 24 will cost $175 per lesson. Lessons will be scheduled on Saturday and Sunday and the driver will choose the focus of the lesson. Tina is happy to work with any level of horse & driver; from beginner to FEI level. Tina has competed for Canada at the FEI level herself. Read Tina’s biography below.The clinic will consist of 1-hour private lessons at a cost of $150 per lesson for registrations up to and including April 25. Lessons booked after April 25 until the closing date of May 1 will cost $175 per lesson. Lessons will be scheduled on Friday and Saturday and the driver will choose the focus of the lesson. Once a clinic spot has been confirmed\, the driver will be asked for a brief overview of what they would like to work on. PLEASE READ CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.Stabling is available for $25 a night (excluding shavings). Shavings are available for $10 per bag. Limited camper hook ups are available. Please email info@carriagedriving.ca for availability.  \n\n\n\nAuditors are welcome. OCDA member auditor fee is $25 per day; non-members $40 per day. \n\n\n\n\n\nPlease note: Lessons will be allocated on a “first come\, first served basis” once FULL payment is received. In case you missed the event at the year-end awards luncheon\, it’s called the Carriage Attire Thrift Shoppe and it is a fundraiser for the Association and allows people to participate by donating their gently used carriage attire.  \n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nHow does it work? \n\n\n\nThis is not a typical “swap” where people trade or sell their items. If you are bringing items to donate\, others can “buy” them via a donation with all proceeds going to the OCDA.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWhat items qualify? \n\n\n\nBring any unwanted mens or ladies driving attire (any type of clothes such as hats\, hat pins\, ties\, jackets\, shirts\, blouses\, aprons\, gloves\, boots\, broaches & jewelry\, scarves\, pants\, helmets\, hatboxes\, etc) that you are willing to part with and we will display it at the OCDA AGM. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nHow does one pay if they want to buy an item? \n\n\n\nCash is preferred but e-transfer is accepted on AGM day.  \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nWhat happens if your items don’t sell? \n\n\n\nUnwanted items will be donated to charity or used for a future Carriage Attire Thrift Shoppe.
